The Cayman Islands Airport Authority contacted Promo Bears to create a friendly, colorful, and appealing parrot. After agreeing on the design, Calypso was brought to life. Parrot mascot Calypso is loved by staff, children and visitors from all over the world!
About The Project | The Design
The Cayman Islands Airport Authority wanted a cheerful mascot that could connect with people. Our design team created four custom mascot designs. After agreeing to the wishes of the client, we proceeded to make revisions to the designs until they were fully according to CIAA their ideas. The approved design was brought to life through a custom mascot costume. Calypso is now able to welcome travelers and create smiles around the airport. In addition to the mascot costume, CIAA also purchased Calypso keychains. This merchandise is used as a giveaway at special events. Moreover, CIAA invested in different mascot poses of Calypso.
EXTRA MASCOT POSES
Once the mascot design is finished, we love to help you bring your character to life! An effective way to do this is by presenting your mascot in different poses. These poses can be used on for example your website, brochures, flyers, and promotion material. Examples of different poses include different facial expressions, different body positions, different accessories, or different clothing.
